Sears, the company that owns Kmart, also responded when asked how products in a labor camp in China ended up on its store shelves. “We found no evidence that production was subcontracted to a labor camp during our investigation,” it said, but added it no longer sources from this company.

Keith believes Sears “must know” but “would rather this be swept under the rug.”

Her skepticism is shared by human rights activists who have long called for stricter supervision of supply chains by multinational corporations.

Writing in the Huffington Post, popular homosexual radio personality Michelangelo Signorile confessed that, of any potential ENDA legislation that might reach President Obama’s desk for his pledged signature, “none should include any religious exemptions” whatsoever.

If Signorile and other “LGBT” activists get their way, this would mean that churches, mosques, synagogues, religious schools, Bible bookstores, as well as any and every other business in America with 15 or more employees, would be forced, under penalty of law, to abandon the biblical and traditional-values viewpoint on human sexuality, and hire (and otherwise not offend) those who openly flaunt expressly sinful and demonstrably self-destructive sexual behaviors.

Having watched Mike Maloney’s “Secrets Of Money” series (Part 1,Part 2Part 3, and Part 4 here), Chris Martenson discusses the critical aspects of the must-watch episodes. Crucially, as we enter a period of apparent Nirvanic equity markets (and dystopian ‘real’ economics), Martenson’s points on the “unnecessarily complex monetary system” that we have today are summed up by his statement that “there is nothing more important that understanding how our money system operates… and why it will fail us.”

Chris Martenson Warns “There Is Nothing More Important Than Understanding This…”

Financialization—relying on expanding debt, leverage and the packaging of debt for growth—pays handsome returns in the early stages of the process. But returns on expanding debt diminish as the low-hanging fruit are plucked and credit expands to buy low-yield, high-risk investments.  Returns also decline as rising interest payments on all of the accumulating debt eat away at yields.

Eventually, returns decline to zero or even negative territory, and doing more of what worked well in the past fails in a spectacular fashion.

Finally, while the Fed may be late to the game, the ECB has already made its feelings on BitCoin well-known long ago: recall from over a year ago: “The ECB Explains What A Ponzi Scheme Is; Awkward Silence Follows” in which the European central banks didn’t mince its words: BitCoin is nothing but a ponzi scheme to the central bank tasked with preserving the viability of an entire insolvent continent, and a a currency which unlike BitCoin would never survive absent regulatory intervention.

So while the electronic currency is soaring exponentially as it goes through its appreciation golden age, will the one thing that can finally end the dream of BitCoin holders arrive soon: when the government, and existing monetary authorities, start taking it seriously.

Americans still overwhelmingly favor a public audit of the Federal Reserve, perhaps in part because a sizable number think the Fed chairman has too much power over the economy.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 74% of American Adults favor auditing the Federal Reserve and making the results available to the public. Just 10% oppose such an audit, but 16% are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Comet ISON has almost completed its journey from the Oort Cloud to Sun’s photosphere and is now inside the orbit of Earth. On November 28, 2013 Comet ISON will fly only 1 million kilometers (2.7 solar radii) above Sun’s surface, through temperature about 5000 degrees Fahrenheit, hot enough to vaporize much of the dust and rock on ISON’s surface. ISON’s growing dust tail now stretches nearly half a degree or a full moon’s diameter.

“What about devil worshippers?” Scalia asked.

“Well, if devil worshippers believe the devil is the almighty, they might be okay,” Laycock said.

“The currency of the new collaborative economy is trust” – says Rachel Botsman, author of “What’s Mine Is Yours: How Collaborative Consumption Is Changing The World We Live In”

Botsman describes the way that companies whose services are based around sharing, such as eBay and Craigslist and Airbnb, are reliant on good reputation and what is often referred to as ‘Reputation Capital’  to succeed. Collaborative consumption is a digital-age model of doing business where shared access, community and reputation are replacing advertising, credit and individual ownership. Where people commit to transactions and exchanges based on mutual trust and a good score, rating or reputation.

Two Navy admirals have been placed on temporary leave after their access to classified materials was suspended. This comes as part of a growing investigation into allegations that Naval officers illegally accepted bribes from a military contractor.

Vice Adm. Ted Branch, director of naval intelligence, and Rear Adm. Bruce Loveless, director of intelligence operations, were reported on Friday to be part of an ongoing probe after they were each accused of having illegal and improper relations with Leonard Francis, CEO of Glenn Defense Marine.

What did Hitler do?  He first manufactured the need and crises.

Hitler promised Health care for everyone, jobs for 100% of the German people and protection from what he called the beginning of a widespread uprising.  This was the mythological uprising he and his Nazi party created by burning down the German government building,  causing huge panic and rage in the people.  Hitler at the time blamed the horrific burning on the communists,  thus he needed a vote for his Enabling Act to stop this out of control terror in Germany.

Napolitano, Homeland Security and Obama have called conservative Americans domestic terrorists,  even returning Vets.  We saw the other leaked report from the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) that listed Rev. Chuck Baldwin and Ron Paul and their followers of even being potential domestic terrorists.

It is horrifying how similar both acts are. Remember that Obama delayed signed Obamacare so that he would sign it on the same day and month as Hitler signed his national healthcare law. America are you paying attention?…

The only reason I bother to comment on this question so far in advance of the election is that the forces behind Clinton have clearly already begun their campaign and I’d like to use the opportunity to try to educate the many progressives who fell in love with Obama and may be poised now to embrace Clinton. Here’s what I wrote in July 2007 during the very early days of the 2008 campaign:

Who do you think said this on June 20? a) Rudy Giuliani; b) Hillary Clinton; c) George Bush; d) Mitt Romney; or e) Barack Obama?

“The American military has done its job. Look what they accomplished. They got rid of Saddam Hussein. They gave the Iraqis a chance for free and fair elections. They gave the Iraqi government the chance to begin to demonstrate that it understood its responsibilities to make the hard political decisions necessary to give the people of Iraq a better future. So the American military has succeeded. It is the Iraqi government which has failed to make the tough decisions which are important for their own people.” 6

Right, it was the woman who wants to be president because … because she wants to be president … because she thinks it would be nice to be president … no other reason, no burning cause, no heartfelt desire for basic change in American society or to make a better world … she just thinks it would be nice, even great, to be president. And keep the American Empire in business, its routine generating of horror and misery being no problem; she wouldn’t want to be known as the president that hastened the decline of the empire.

There are two questions here:

1. How can we sustainably pay for 75 million beneficiaries in 2020?

2. Are there sufficient resources, labor and capital to support 75 million beneficiaries in the manner that they were promised?

The first question presumes there are limits on the creation of ‘free money,” and the second presumes there are limits on the surplus generated by the economy that can be devoted to supporting retirees.

America has become a gigantic gulag over the past few decades and most of its citizens don’t know, or just don’t care. Making matters worse is a rapidly growing private prison system, which adds a profit motive to the equation. Philippine death toll could reach 10,000 from typhoon, authorities say

The death toll from one of the strongest storms on record that ravaged the central Philippine city of Tacloban could reach 10,000 people, officials said Sunday after the extend of massive devastation became apparent and horrified residents spoke of storm surges as high as trees.

Regional police chief Elmer Soria said he was briefed by Leyte provincial Governor Dominic Petilla late Saturday and told there were about 10,000 deaths on the island, mostly by drowning and from collapsed buildings. The governor’s figure was based on reports from village officials in areas where Typhoon Haiyan slammed Friday.

More than 100 people were killed in a major Philippine coastal city that took the brunt of Super Typhoon Haiyan, authorities said Saturday. That death toll in Tacloban was the first significant casualty report in a day when authorities began surveying the devastation of a typhoon that has been described as perhaps the strongest storm ever to make landfall in recorded history.

More than 100 bodies were littered in and around Tacloban’s airport, according to the facility’s manager.

In his 1913 book The New Freedom, President Woodrow Wilson (1913 to 1921) stated:
“Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men´s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.”

After US secretary of state warned PM of possible sanction relief on Iran, Israeli officials tell ‘Israel Radio’ they are surprised by behaviour of the US in Geneva; talks to continue Saturday with more world leaders joining.

Netanyahu harshly criticized the prospective deal after the meeting with Kerry.

According to Netanyahu Iran is getting everything it wants at this stage, and not giving anything in return, and this at a time when Iran is under intense pressure.

The Israeli officials said that the discussion between Kerry and Netanyahu on Friday was “very difficult,” according to the report.

Iran nuclear talks to enter third day after ‘progress’

(Netanya, Israel) — I landed in Israel on Friday afternoon amidst a rapidly intensifying crisis in U.S.-Israeli relations.

The Obama administration is preparing to cut a disastrously bad nuclear bargainwith Iran that relieves enormous economic pressure on Tehran without requiring the mullahs to dismantle a single centrifuge. The Israelis are stunned. Top officials feel betrayed by the White House, including by reports that the White House has secretly been easing sanctions for months. There have long been tensions between President Obama and Prime Minister Netanyahu. There have been times I have  feared a “train wreck” between the two. Hopefully, the dynamic will change for the better, and quickly. But at the moment things are going from bad to worse in a hurry here.

International talks on Iran’s nuclear program have ended without an agreement, according to EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton.

The ostensible purpose is to better treat mental illness, but I think we all know what the experimental research wing of the military’s real motives are. As reported by the Boston Globe:

The fourth installment of the Robocop franchise, set for release in February next year, is based around the premise that robotic drones patrol the world but that America is the last holdout and needs to be brainwashed into relinquishing its “robophobia”

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is still battling in federal court over releasing information that would show where it is flying drones in the United States.

In a civil case first filed in 2012, the Electronic Frontier Foundation(EFF) has been trying to get DHS to reveal areas under surveillance by unmanned aerial vehicles.

EFF won a partial victory when the presiding judge ordered the agency to turn over three years of “daily reports” revealing that it had arranged more than 500 drone flights for various law enforcement organizations.

But DHS redacted portions of the documents it released, claiming it could not divulge more without compromising the effectiveness of drone operations.
